VetBook Terms and Conditions
Welcome to VetBook. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the VetBook website, account features, clinic search tools, appointment request services, and any related online services provided through vetbook.bg.
By accessing or using VetBook, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the service.
1. About VetBook
VetBook helps pet owners find veterinary practices, view practice information, and request appointments with participating clinics. VetBook is not a veterinary practice and does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, prescriptions, or medical advice.
Any veterinary services are provided by the relevant clinic or veterinary professional, not by VetBook. The clinic is responsible for the care, advice, treatment, fees, and appointment decisions it provides.
2. Accounts
To use certain features of VetBook, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information;
- keep your login details secure and confidential;
- be responsible for activity that occurs under your account;
- update your information if it changes.
VetBook may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, provide false information, or breach these Terms.
3. Clinic Search and Practice Information
VetBook may display clinic names, locations, contact details, distance estimates, ratings, availability, and other practice information. Some information may be provided by clinics, third-party mapping services, public sources, or user interaction with the service.
We aim to keep information useful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every practice listing, distance, opening time, service description, price, or availability entry is complete, current, or error-free. You should confirm important details directly with the clinic before travelling or relying on them.
4. Appointment Requests and Bookings
VetBook allows users to request appointments with participating veterinary clinics. Submitting a request through VetBook does not guarantee that the clinic will accept, confirm, or provide an appointment.
A booking is only confirmed when the clinic or VetBook confirms it through the website, email, app notification, phone, or another agreed communication method.
You are responsible for providing accurate pet, contact, appointment, and visit details. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay or prevent the clinic from accepting your request.
5. Emergencies
VetBook is not an emergency veterinary service. If your pet needs urgent care, contact a local emergency veterinary clinic immediately or use the emergency contact process recommended by your regular vet.
Do not rely on VetBook messages, booking requests, or contact forms for emergency situations.
6. Payments, Fees, and Cancellations
Some bookings or services may require online payment, deposit, or payment at the clinic. Payments may be processed through approved third-party payment providers.
Clinic prices, cancellation rules, refund policies, deposits, and treatment fees may vary by practice and service. Unless VetBook clearly states otherwise, the clinic is responsible for setting and explaining its own fees and cancellation policies.
If a refund is available, it will normally be processed using the original payment method, subject to the payment provider, clinic policy, and any applicable legal rights.
7. User Content
Users may be able to submit content through VetBook, including appointment notes, pet details, photos, ratings, reviews, messages, and other information.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant VetBook a limited license to store, process, display, and share that content as needed to operate the service, manage bookings, communicate with clinics, provide support, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload or submit any content you provide.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use VetBook to:
- submit false, misleading, abusive, illegal, harmful, or offensive content;
- impersonate another person, clinic, or organisation;
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data, or clinic information;
- interfere with the website, APIs, security, or platform functionality;
- use the service for spam, fraud, harassment, or abusive behaviour;
- upload malware, harmful files, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
VetBook may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that breach these rules.
9. Reviews, Ratings, and Moderation
If VetBook allows reviews, ratings, comments, or other user-generated content, that content must be honest, relevant, and based on genuine experience.
We may use moderation tools, user reports, and manual review to hide, remove, or restrict content that appears abusive, misleading, unlawful, irrelevant, or otherwise unsuitable for the service.
Users can report objectionable content by contacting VetBook support. We aim to review reports promptly and take appropriate action where required.
10. Privacy and Data
Your use of VetBook is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data.
Information you provide may be shared with clinics when necessary to handle appointment requests, customer support, and related services. VetBook takes reasonable steps to protect user data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Intellectual Property
VetBook branding, software, website design, text, platform features, databases, and other materials are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, distribute, sell, modify, or reuse any part of VetBook without permission, except as allowed by law or by normal use of the website.
12. Availability of Service
VetBook aims to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, modify, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetBook is not liable for indirect losses, loss of data, lost profits, business interruption, missed appointments, clinic decisions, veterinary advice, veterinary treatment outcomes, or reliance on inaccurate third-party listing information.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or for rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
14. Termination
You may stop using VetBook at any time. VetBook may suspend or terminate access to accounts or services if a user breaches these Terms, misuses the service, creates risk for other users or clinics, or where required for legal or security reasons.
15. Changes to These Terms
VetBook may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Bulgaria, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
